The Concrete Design Award ceremony for the Wisconsin Ready Mixed Concrete Association is an annual opportunity to celebrate the best concrete projects throughout the state and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The celebration of outstanding projects often took a theme based on the venue in which the event took place. In 2002 the ceremony was one of the first public events in the new addition to the Milwaukee Art Museum. With a minimal budget, the night became an incredible celebration of concrete, art, and Mussorgsky's music.
